About Us
ABOUT THE OWNER
As a kid, I grew up in a military family moving all over the United States. I enjoyed working on boats and cars in my free time. I continued traveling around the country in my early 20s working jobs as an aircraft mechanic and independent catastrophe insurance adjuster. Eventually, I decided I wanted to master a trade and settle down back in Florida. That’s when I discovered my love for the craft of roofing.
After returning to Florida, I began roofing all over South West Florida, Tampa Bay, Orlando and the Florida Keys, making it my mission to master the trade. Working for many companies, I was able to learn different types of roofing with different building zone code requirements. I enjoy my craft and appreciate the challenges that come along the way; it combines my mechanical skills and my affinity for building and fabricating things.
I decided to open my own roofing company to have more control over the quality of work I wanted to offer customers. And, I was tired of seeing fly-by-night contractors swoop in from out of state and take advantage of homeowners.
As a former insurance adjuster, I know the insurance process and can walk my customers through it. I use the same estimating software insurance adjusters use and know firsthand which roofing materials hold up when it comes to strong hurricane winds and heavy Florida rain.
Lawton Bowers is a licensed roofer in the state of Florida. (License No. CCC1334090) When he’s not roofing, he follows the Bucs and college football. On the weekends, he enjoys boating and fishing with his family and friends.
